About

Raised in a creative family, Lee-Ann grew up believing you could make anything.
Her grandmother was employed at the Broadway Men's Suit factory in Shannon. She fondly remembers herself as a young girl, sneaking up the creaky wooden stairs of the factory to marvel at the rosy cheeked women operating the industrial sewing machines.
Lee-Ann's mother worked for Libertyland, an iconic underwear manufacturer in Palmerston North. A skilled sewer, she once crafted a denim jumpsuit adorned with 1970's embroidered patches. Lee-Ann wore them while riding her chopper bike and swears they initiated her love of embellishment.
Her other grandmother made cakes and slices at the Pink Cake store in Foxton whilst her father pursued the serious hobby of crafting Tiffany-style leadlight lamps.

Unsurprisingly, Lee-Ann hands possessed a natural talent for arts and crafts and despite being admitted to Wellington school of textile design at 16, she chose to forge her own path.

Driven by a passion for costume design, her early career path led her to oversee costume departments for TVNZ and film productions in NZ. She also sold a limited edition of embroidered bags to Karen Walker, crafted handmade cards for Georges Department store in Melbourne, and lived in Paris.

Subsequently, she ventured into styling and creating social media for a successful fashion boutique in Auckland whilst raising two sons.

Today she stands with her own online store dedicated to her lifelong passion of designing and handcrafting lifestyle products for individuals who cherish exquisite things.
